Hungarian Railway Museum
The Hungarian Railway Museum Foundation was set up by MÁV Rt. and MÁV Nosztalgia Kft. in November 1999. The objectives of the Foundation are to collect the railway relics of the past; to develop and operate a permanent railway exhibition; and to maintain the vehicles exhibited and operated at the Museum.
The Foundation promotes research aimed at the history and development of the railway. The Hungarian Railway Museum Foundation welcomes any support for the operation and development of the Museum and for the restoration, maintenance and preservation of the vintage rolling stock from private individuals and businesses who feel that it is important to preserve the technical relics of the Hungarian railways for the benefit of our citizens in the future.
