Former Millenáris Park-The House of future
Located in Marczibányi Square, the Millenáris Park was originally the site of the Ganz Electrical Works Factory.As part of the rehabilitation of this industrial area, a 3,5 hectare park was established, with a large exhibition hall.
It now serves as one of the major cultural centres of the city, hosting musical events, stage-shows and exhibitions. the Millenaris is a modern cultural complex with exhibition halls, theater, galleries and a café surrounded by a well-maintained uniquely designed park. The park with its small pond and play-ground is very popular among families with small children. The former industry buildings were transformed to host scientific and cultural events.
